Occupational Noise Monitoring
Current legislation places specific responsibilities on employers to undertake Occupational Noise Monitoring and Noise Surveys to assess the risks and to prevent or minimise any exposure to workplace noise. Employee exposure to Occupational Noise occurs in many industrial sectors ranging from factories to construction and demolition sites.
The Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005 require that employers undertake regular noise monitoring to identify sources of noise exposure, those persons affected, the effectiveness of existing control measures and what improvements or additional controls can be put into place. Noise monitoring is a key element in the preparation of a noise risk assessment and action plan to achieve compliance.
Bradley Environmental have qualified and competent consultants to undertake Occupational Noise Monitoring and your Noise Survey. We can also provide comprehensive Environmental Noise Monitoring in accordance with BS4142, which may be required as part of an IPPC application or to investigate the potential for noise complaints from industrial processes.
